How To Find Where A Program Is Installed
How to view what programs are installed on a computer

View all programs in Windows
The Offset menu or First screen provides a list of nearly all programs installed on the computer and bachelor for use. For more than details, select your version of Windows in the listing below and review the instructions.

- Windows 8
- Windows 7 and earlier
Windows eleven
- Click Offset or press the Windows key.
- In the Kickoff card, click the All apps push button near the tiptop-right corner to view all programs on the computer.
Windows 10
- Click Start or press the Windows key.
- All programs on the reckoner are displayed on the Start menu.
Windows 8
- Printing the Windows key, type All Apps, then press Enter.
- The window that opens has a full list of programs installed on the computer.
Windows vii and earlier
- Click Starting time.
- In the Start menu, click All programs or Programs.
- All programs installed on the computer are displayed.
View all uninstallable programs in Windows
The Programs and Features utility in Windows allows you to view the programs on a computer that tin exist uninstalled.
Windows Vista, 7, viii, 10, and xi
- Press the Windows key, type Control Panel, and then printing Enter.
- Under the Programs section, click the Uninstall a program link.
Note
If using the Small icons or Large icons view in the Control Panel, click the Programs and Features selection.
- In the Programs and Features window, any of the programs you run into tin can be uninstalled.
Tip
To view the programs that come installed with Windows, click the Turn Windows features on and off link on the left side of the Programs and Features window.
View all programs installed on a Mac
- Click the Finder icon on the Dock at the bottom of the screen.
- On the left side of the Finder window, nether the Favorites section, click the selector.
- The section to the right of the carte du jour shows the programs installed on your Mac.
